Cosy Tooting Retreat: 2-Bed Gem

Great location, clean, well equipped and comfortable. A fab find! Positive: A great two bedroom apartment in a fantastic location just off Tooting High Street. Very clean and well maintained with comfy beds, nice linen and towels. We didn't use the small outdoor terrace because the weather was awful but it looked to be a great little space. Well equipped throughout (Dishwasher, washing machine etc) so great for those looking to stay for longer than a couple of days. Lovely shower with a large rainfall type fitting and a smaller adjustable one. There were three of us, showering one after the other and the water stayed nice and hot throughout. The owner was easy to contact and very helpful. The hairdryer was missing when we arrived and he replaced it the same day. Those not used to town and city living or light sleepers may find the apartment a little noisy at night. The traffic on the high street is fairly constant but that's understandable due to its location. There's a small One Stop shop across the road for all of the essentials and larger supermarkets close by. The Tube station is very close too. All in all, this is a great little find, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Negative: There wasn't anything not to like, just a couple of things that needed attention. One of the doorknobs on the wardrobe was missing and needed replacing. The bulb was missing from the bedside light in the bedroom closest to the road. There were no glasses of any description in the kitchen. We were celebrating and had our fizz in tea mugs so not really a problem but glasses would have been preferable.

Good location to visit family Positive: Clean, good location near tube. Negative: The front door is very difficult to open and we struggled to get in every time. There were no glasses at all - no wine or water glasses and only 3 forks.
